Thalapathy 63: Vijay Film Kicks Off With A Puja Ceremony. See Pics

Nothing can stop Vijay. His action thriller film Mersal became an earth-shattering success in 2017. One year later, Vijay once again churned out another hit movie named Sarkar. This year, the actor has still worked with director Atlee Kumar for his 63rd movie, which is tentatively titled as Thalapathy 63. In this theme-sports drama movie, Vijay is said to play a football player or coach. With Thalapathy 63, the 44-year-old actor is looking for another super hit in 2019.

Bankrolled by AGS Entertainment, Thalapathy 63 is produced by Kalpathi S Ganesh, Kalpathi S Aghoram and Kalpathi S Suresh. The movie has officially started shooting with a puja ceremony on 20^th January 2019. CEO of AGS Cinema, Archana Kalpathi, took to the Twitter to share the news.

The upcoming movie Thalapathy 63 is the 3^rd collaboration between director Atlee Kumar and actor Vijay. The two has previously worked together in two blockbusters namely Mersal and Theri, which both did wonder at the box office and received a lot of positive reviews from the critics and audiences. Vijay was also nominated Filmfare Awards for the Best Tamil Actor for both movies.

According to AGS Entertainment, the leading actress is superstar Nayantara, who will reunite with Vijay after ten years since action movie Villu. Thalapathy 63 also stars Yogi Babu, Vivek, Kathir, Daniel Balaji, and many others.

This upcoming movie has cinematography by G K Vishnu and the music composed by AR Rahman. Also, editor Ruben is responsible for the cuts, and Archana Kalpathi is the creative director.

Thalapathy 63 is planned to hit the cinema in the Diwali this year. More details are expected to be revealed soon.
