Vijay, one of the most popular actors in Kollywood, is currently looking forward to the release of his highly anticipated movie, Master. Co-starring immensely talented Vijay Sethupathi and Malayalam beauty Malavika Mohanan, the film is an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Master is slated to enter theatres on 9th April 2020. But before the film reaches cinemas worldwide, the makers have planned an elaborate audio launch event at March 15. Diehard fans of Vijay are looking forward to hearing their favourite superstar’s speech at the event. Buzz has it that apart from launching the audio of his immediate release, Vijay will also be announcing the name of his next film’s director at the audio launch of Master.
The expectations about the director of his 65th film have already been high even before Master was wrapped up. There is a long list of directors who have been linked to the high-profile project, including Sudha Kongara, Lokesh Kanagaraj and AR Murugadoss. Some sources suggest that AR Murugadoss is the front runner to helm Thalapathy 65. However, the superstar has refrained from dropping any hints.
But now, Vijay is reportedly set to announce the director of his next 65th film at the audio launch of his much-anticipated offering, Master. Fans are already excited about the audio launch event on 15th March, but now they will have yet another reason for celebration besides his big speech.
Also, it will be a huge surprise for fans of Vijay if he opts to join with an unexpected director for his next film, which is reported to be produced by Sun Pictures. It will be his second collaboration with the production house after Sarkar (2018) which was a huge box-office hit. Rumours are also rife that PVR Cinemas might be the multiplex partner of the film, as the operator had recently tweeted mentioning Thalapathy 65.
