Sakar is not the first-hand film marking the cooperation of AR and Vijay. The fact is that the film is the third venture of this magical actor-director combo and the previous ones were Thuppakki 2012 and Kaththi 2014.

On October 19, the teaser of Sarkar hit the online circuits. It had gotten a grand reception and established an entirely new record by hitting 1 million views within only one hour in the online circuits.

The movie’s dialogues were penned by Jeyamohan

Director AR Murugadoss is the one who wrote the script of Sarkar. The film’s dialogues were penned by writer Jeyamohan at the same time. It is also the first time he is collaborating with filmmaker AR.

The debut film of Girish Gangadharan in Kollywood

Sarkar has itself its cinematography team lead by cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, who had shot to stardom thanks to his work with Malayalam film industry. Hence, the Vijay starrer is considered as a Girish Gangadharan’s debut in Kollywood.
