Rashmika Mandanna & Karthi Starrer Locks Its Title

Rashmika Mandanna is currently one of the most sought-after actresses in the South Indian film industry. She was most recently seen in Dear Comrade (2019) where she played a state-level cricketer who stops playing after being sexually harassed by the national level selector.

The actress shared the screen space with heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda in the film. Though Dear Comrade did not do the kind of business the makers had probably expected from it, the audience loved the fresh pairing of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda.

Keeping the failure of Dear Comrade aside, the gorgeous actress recently started shooting for her next film. After impressing everyone in Kannada and Telugu cinema, Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up to woo the audience in the Tamil film industry.

She is making her Tamil debut with a film starring superstar Karthi as the male lead. Earlier, rumours were rife that the project is called Sultan, but the makers remained tight-lipped about the same. However, Rashmika Mandanna has just confirmed the title to be Sultan in her Instagram story.

Rashmika has been shooting for the Bakkiyaraj Kannan directorial for four consecutive days. Teasing her fans, she shared a picture from the sets of the film. The actress is also part of Mahesh Babu's forthcoming movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi. She has wrapped up the first shooting schedule of the film and is looking forward to joining the team for the second schedule.

Meanwhile, reports are doing the rounds that she has also been roped in opposite Thalapathy Vijay in his next film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. More details are awaited though.
