The action entertainer, which has been produced on a massive budget of ₹ 300 crore, has already faced several delays in the past. The latest we hear that the project has hit yet another roadblock just a month before its release.

Starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, Saaho is one of the hugely anticipated films of 2019. For southern superstar Prabhas, it will be his first release after the humongous success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017).

Not just in India, people all over the world are also waiting for the big-ticket film as it is being touted as the biggest action entertainer to have ever come out of the stable of Indian cinema.

After facing a series of delays in the past, Saaho was set to hit the marquee on 15th August, 2019. However, if fresh reports are to be believed, the Prabhas starrer has hit yet another roadblock ahead of its Independence Day release.

According to reports, the actioner is facing another delay because of some pending VFX work.

However, another source reveals that the makers have decided to push the release of the movie as they are unable to find a good chunk of theatres in North India because Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House are also set to release on the same date.

Since cinema owners in North India are giving preference to Hindi films, there are not enough screens for Saaho.

Well, whatever is the reason but the fans, who have been waiting for the film with bated breath for so long, are definitely going to feel disappointed if the makers have indeed decided to shift the release date of Saaho from 15th August to 30th August. The multilingual film is directed by Sujeeth.
