Naga Chaitanya Set To Reunite With “Manam” Director Vikram K Kumar?

Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Telugu film, Venky Mama. Helmed by KS Ravindra, the action family-drama released on December 13, 2019 and received mixed response from audiences and critics. Besides Naga Chaitanya, the movie also featured Daggubati Venkatesh, Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput in the lead roles.

Now, buzz has it that Naga Chaitanya might reunite with director Vikram K Kumar. According to reports, Kumar recently met the talented actor and narrated a script to him. Ever since then, it is being rumoured that there are high chances of Vikram directing the actor in his next directorial offering.

Some industry insiders reveal that the meeting between the two ended on a positive note and Naga Chaitanya has indeed liked the script, which has been narrated to him by the ace filmmaker. However, an official announcement is highly awaited to ascertain whether the actor and director will indeed be joining forces for a movie once again. For the uninitiated, Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K Kumar have previously worked together on the 2014 film, Manam.

Meanwhile, Chaitanya is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Love Story. The movie is being directed by Sekhar Kammula and the shooting is presently progressing at a brisk pace. As per reports, the shoot is expected to be completed by the end of March. Popular actress Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead in the movie. Love Story is scheduled to roll into theatres on April 2, 2020.

The actor will soon start shooting for his much-awaited next film with director Parasuram. Tentatively titled NC 20, the film is currently in pre-production. However, there are some media outlets which report that Naga Chaitanya has walked out of the project for reasons best known to him. An official confirmation is awaited.
