The masterminds of the Malayalam film business on Sunday assembled at a posh hotel in Cochin to celebrate the success of Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal.
His film Lucifer, which was released recently, turned into a milestone of his professional life as it went onto crush all the records of the Malayalam film industry.
Lucifer also marked the directorial introduction of Prithviraj, who helmed the movie from Murali Gopy's script. It pursued the endeavours of a charming neighbourhood political pioneer to ensure his family after the death of his caretaker and foster dad.
But, there is a whole other world to him than it meets the eye. At last, it is uncovered that the genuine personality of Mohanlal's character is Khureshi Ab'raam, a feared hoodlum and the most wanted don.
Following the enormous achievement of Lucifer, the movie producers reported a continuation titled Empuraan. On Sunday's occasion, however, Prithviraj and Murali Gopy uncovered that another portion of the establishment is underway.
As per reports, Prithviraj asserted that Murali's account of Lucifer was rambling to the point that he even considered making it an 11-episode long series for a streaming platform. The third film is said to investigate a lot darker subject in the Lucifer arrangement.
The pre-production work of Empuraan is in progress. The motion picture will go on the floors during the second half of 2020. Before joining the sets of this movie, Mohanlal will finish the shooting of Barroz - Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure, which will check his directorial debut.
Mohanlal has teamed up with Jijo Punnoose of My Dear Kuttichathan-fame for the venture. He will make Barroz as a 3D film featuring some international actors
On Sunday's occasion, Mohanlal introduced young artist Lydian Nadhaswaram, who is only 13, as the music composer of Barros. Charged as a kids' fantasy show, Barros will star well known Spanish artist's, Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo.
