Hitting the theatre last Thursday, May 9, Mahesh Babu's latest film Maharshi is taking fans by storm. The movie has seen an overwhelming box office result merely a few days after the release.
According to In.com, the film has collected Rs 100 crore at the global box office within the first four days. It is expected to surpass Bharat Ane Nenu’s revenue and become the highest grosser among 25 films of Mahesh Babu. Apart from the Telugu states, the movie also gets positive responses in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and the USA.
Featuring Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu and Allari Naresh in the lead roles, the Vamsi Paidipally directional highlights the difficulties of poor farmers. Mahesh Babu has the portrayal of a millionaire businessman who returns to his homeland and becomes the champion of oppressed farmers.
