Mahesh Babu Superhit Film "Maharshi" Set To Enter The 200 Crore Club

Telugu action-drama film Maharshi is breaking all records as it is all set to enter the 200 Crore club. The film is still running an endless run across the global market making it as one of the huge blockbusters that the actor has ever produced. This is the 25th film of the actor Mahesh Babu and the film is running its successful 27th day.

The film is a political drama about a millionaire who returns to his homeland where a series of events makes him a leader fighting for the poor farmers. The movie hasn't seen a dip in bookings since its release on 9th May and has successfully crossed all its counterparts at the box office.

Overjoyed with the success of the film the actor shared a video memory from his days of shooting for Maharshi on Instagram saying, "#Maharshi... The movie is directed by Vamsi Paidipally who is best known for his films Brindavanam, Yevadu, and Munna. Off which Yevadu was the film which gave him the ticket to the top of the list. Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh play a vital role in the movie which is jointly produced by Aswini Dutt, Dil Raju, and PVP pictures.

Despite running successfully for almost a month now, the movie has received mixed reviews from the critics across the country. Fans of Mahesh Babu were all guns and glory about his acting prowess in the film praising his work and also the script of the movie which is a crowd pleaser. The movie is eagerly looked forward on whether or not it would be able to break the records of another Mahesh Babu Telugu action-drama movie Bharat Ane Nenu. The movie was highly praised by the critics and was equally accepted by the audience.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu has signed another movie Sarileru Neekevvaru which would be directed by the Anil Ravipudi. The film would be directed by Dil Raju, Anil Sunkara, Mahesh Babu and Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and AK Entertainments. Rashmika Mandanna will be the lead actress opposite Mahesh Babu. The film is set to release in early 2020.
