Bollywood filmmaker-producer Karan Johar on Wednesday sent out a praise-filled wish for Mahesh Babu ahead of the release of his 25th film, "Maharshi."

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is now gearing up for the grand worldwide release of his 25th movie Maharshi on 9th May. Ahead of this, Bollywood filmmaker-producer Karan Johar extended his support to the actor by sending him one special message on social media that immediately went viral.

In the video posted by Namrata Shirodkar, Karan Johar announced fans that Mahesh Babu’s 25th film will soon hit the cinema on 9th May, stating that he is super excited to watch the movie. He said,

Karan did not forget to shower the superstar’s praise and wished him all the best on his upcoming film.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally and also featuring Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Allari Naresh, Jagapathi Babu and Meenakshi Dixit in the pivotal roles, Maharshi is reportedly one of the most anticipated films of this year.

Talking about Mahesh Babu’s role in the film, the 43-year-old star will play a character named Rishi, who goes through three different stages and phases - a college student, a business magnate, and a farmer.

During a recent interview, Mahesh said that Maharshi is different from all the movies that he has done before and claimed that the moviegoers would find it easy to relate to his character.
