Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to share his condolences on the untimely demise of the legendary Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan who worked in Hollywood as well.

Kamal Haasan, one of the leading actors of Indian cinema, is shocked to hear about the untimely demise of legendary Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, just like the rest of us. The entire nation has been mourning his passing away ever since news came out that he is not with us anymore.
Kamal Haasan too has shared his condolences. Taking to his Twitter account, the superstar writes that it was too soon to leave. He added that Khan’s work always left him in awe and that he is one of the finest actors he knows. Kamal Haasan wished that the actor stayed longer as he deserved more time.
On Saturday, Irrfan Khan had lost his mother in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The actor had been unable to attend her funeral due to the nationwide lockdown in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. He had performed the last riots over a video call.
National Award-winning actor Irfan Khan has left for his heavenly abode at the age of 53 after putting up a brave fight with cancer since 2018. The actor succumbed to a colon infection today at a hospital in Mumbai. He had been admitted two days back and was in the ICU. He is survived by his wife Sutapa and sons, Babil and Ayan.
Irrfan Khan is regarded as one of the finest actors ever born. Apart from starring in several notable Hindi films, he proved his acting mettle in a couple of Hollywood films also. Some of his most popular films include Maqbool (2003), The Lunchbox (2013), Haider (2014), Piku (2015), Slumdog Millionaire (2008), Inferno (2016), Life of Pi (2012) and Jurassic World (2015).
Talking about the forthcoming projects of Kamal Haasan, the superstar will next be seen in Indian 2. Helmed by Shanker, the much-awaited movie is a sequel to their National Film Award-winning film Indian (1996).
