Gorgeous Nidhhi Agerwal To Romance Jayam Ravi In Her Kollywood Debut

Gorgeous actress Nidhhi Agerwal is on cloud nine these days! The diva has bagged her first Kollywood movie and that too opposite none other than Jayam Ravi. Yes, you heard that absolutely right! Nidhhi Agerwal is all set to make her Kollywood debut with superstar Jayam Ravi’s 25th film.

Well-known filmmaker Lakshman, who has previously directed Tamil romantic comedy Romeo Juliet (2015), will direct the untitled movie. The project marks the third collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Lakshman after Romeo Juliet and Bogan (2017).

Earlier, some media outlets reported that popular actress Keerthy Suresh was in talks to play the female lead in the forthcoming venture. However, director Lakshman has confirmed that Nidhhi Agerwal will be the female lead of the film.

Talking about her role in the movie, Lakshman tells an Indian daily,

The filmmaker is presently busy finalizing shooting locations for the project.

Though nothing much is known about the storyline of the upcoming film at the moment, some industry insiders reveal that is a social-drama film, which stars megastar Jayam Ravi in the role of a farmer. As far as Nidhhi’s role in the movie is concerned, there is no update on the same. Having said that, she is surely playing the love interest of superstar Ravi.

Nidhhi Agerwal, who began her acting career with Hindi film Munna Michael (2017) opposite Tiger Shroff, is really on a roll these days. She is already filming for an upcoming Telugu movie, besides having two Hindi films in her kitty. And now, the actress is venturing into Kollywood also. Besides her, the Jayam Ravi starrer will also mark the Kollywood debut of popular Hindi film and television actor Ronit Roy. Ronit plays the lead antagonist in the movie.
