Chiranjeevi Wraps Up Big-Ticket Historical War Drama “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy”

Superstar Chiranjeevi has finished shooting for his much-awaited historical war drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The movie is based on the life of great freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema.

Besides Chiranjeevi, who plays the male lead, the big-budgeted film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty on its ensemble star cast. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen making a guest appearance in the highly anticipated Telugu drama.

Principal photography of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy commenced in Hyderabad on 6^th December, 2017.  Almost one and a half year later, the makers have finally wrapped up the movie and now the post-production work will begin.

Posting pictures with director Surender Reddy from the sets of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy on the last day of the shoot, cinematographer Rathanavelu tweeted,

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a Surender Reddy directorial. He has previously helmed a series of blockbuster films such as Kick (2009), Kick 2 (2016) and Dhruva (2016). Telugu megastar Ram Charan has produced the movie under his banner, Konidela Production Company.

Reportedly, the makers have spent a whopping ₹ 200 crores on the making of the film. Well-known music director Amit Trivedi has composed music for the flick with lyrics penned down by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is set to witness a massive release on October 2 this year.
