A latest viral craze called the #10yearschallenge is currently taking the whole Internet by storm. For the uninitiated, people taking on this challenge have to share two pictures of themselves, one from 2009 and the other from 2019. A host of celebrities have posted their then-and-now photos, but singer Demi Lovato is the one who doesn’t follow this trend. She recently shared an Instagram story to disclose the reason why she rejected the challenge. She said,

Lovato has been maintaining a low profile on her social media handles since the singer was taken to hospital for an apparent drug overdose. Demi was out of rehab in November 2018, since then updating her private life has been really hard to come by. However, she is, by all accounts, making the great progress as that’s probably reflected in the message the star sent to her well-wishers to commemorate the new year.
