On Tuesday, Ariana Grande took to her Instagram to announce fans that she has to postponed two Florida show dates on her Sweetener tour because of illness.
However, the 7 Rings singer promises that she will make up for fans and hopes that they will forgive her.
According to Live Nation, these two concerts, which were initially scheduled on May 28 at Tampa’s Amalie Arena and May 29 at Orlando’s Amway Center, will be pushed to November 24 and November 25, respectively. Meanwhile, Ariana is still set to perform at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on May 31.
Talking about Ariana Grande’s World Tour Sweetener, the tour kicked off on March 18 and will end in November. It's also the first time she has toured since her Dangerous Woman in 2017, when her Manchester Arena show was targeted by a suicide bomber, claiming 22 lives and leaving hundreds injured. During an interview with ELLE last year, Ariana shared that she had suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety after the terrorist attack.
She further said that the final track on her album Sweetener, titled Get Well Soon was inspired by the state of her mental health after that event.
