A lot of Bollywood celebrities have shown that single moms can give their child the attention and support they need. Let's us give some respect to the famous mothers of Bollywood who's doing a fine job with their kids and handling fame at the same time.
Sarika Thakur
Sarika Thakur, usually refered to as Sarika, married actor Kamal Hassan back in 1985. The two had two beautiful daughters, Shruti and Akshara Haasan. After Kamal and Sarika divorced in 2004, the veteran actor single-handedly took care of Shruti and Akshara. Even as a single mother, it appears Sarika is doing well, as both of her daughters are beloved celebrities themselves.
Malaika Arora
After 17 years of marriage, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan have decided to go their own separate ways. The two has a 16-year-old sun, Arhaan. Malaika won the custody of Arhaan post the divorce, and her son is staying with her. There's a rumor that Arbaaz is now in love with Giorgia Andriani, while Malaika is ready to move on with Arjun Kapoor.
Raveena Tandon
As a 19-year-old, Raveena Tandon took under her wings 2 little girls, Chhaya and Pooja. At the time, Chhaya was 8 and Pooja was 11. Later, she would have kids of her own after the marriage with Anil Thadani in 2004.
Recently, her elder daughter tied the knot and gave Raveena grandchildren. So overall, this well-known actress is a mother to 4 and grandmother to 2. What an inspiration.
Sushmita Sen
Like Raveena, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen too adopted a child, Renee, in the year 2000 when she was merely 25-years-old. After Renee, Sushmita adopted another daughter in 2010. This celebrity seems to have her mind set on raising the children all on her own because there seems to be no plan of marriage for her in the near future.
Karisma Kapoor
After her official divorce with Sanjay Kapur in 2016, with whom she had been married for 11 years with two kids Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor has been raising the children by herself.
Pooja Bedi
Pooja Bedi wedded businessman Farhan Ebrahim in 1990. Due to differences, the couple split and since then Pooja has been single-handedly raising her two little ones, Alia and Omar.
Amrita Singh
Amrita Singh, a prominent actress in the 80s and 90s, shared a marital bliss of 13 years with actor Saif Ali Khan. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it together till the end, and Amrita is left with their 2 children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Tasked with raising 2 kids alone, Amrita met all expectations despite the odds. Sara debuted her Bollywood career just like her mother, while Ibrahim has garnered himself a fanbase on social media platforms.
Urvashi Dholakia
A popular actress for television shows like Dekh Bhai Ekh, Kasauti Zindagi Ki and many others, Urvashi Dholakia was married at the age of 16. As young as she was, Urvashi never abandoned her duty as a mother even after an untimely divorce. Her husband left her with twin sons when the kids were only 6 months old, and she has been raising them ever since.
Kanika Kapoor
Another woman who tied the know at a young age, singer Kanika Kapoor was only 19 when NRI businessman Raj Chandok asked for her hand in marriage. The couple moved to London afterward and had 3 children. In 2012, they parted ways and Kapoor gained custody of the kids and moved back to India.
