Fantastic Beasts and The Crimes of Grindelwald will hit the cinema on 16th November.

Warner Bros held the first screenings for Fantastic Beasts and The Crimes of Grindelwald on Saturday and the reactions have been shared online with high praises for Johnny Depp’s performance.

The sequel of Fantastic Beast marks the tenth cinematic visit to J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. The film will hit the cinema on November 16th but some lucky fans have the chance to see it in advanced. Fantastic Beasts and The Crimes of Grindelwald has received many positive reviews mostly from fans. Johnny Depp, who was only a cameo in the first film as a dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, has a much more outstanding role in the sequel.

The movie critic, Simon Thompson gave Johnny Depp compliment on his outstanding performance. Another movie critic, Scott Menzel claimed that Johnny Deep’s performance is perfection. Besides, the action and visuals in the film have received high praises. Critic Scott Menzel and Simon Thompson praised its “outstanding visual”, “stunningly visual” and “flawless action”. Many fans also tweeted that the visuals and action were much better than the first film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them.

Moreover, the ending of the film has been discussed in a widespread and inconclusive way after the first screenings. Scott said that the ending “will leave you speechless” and many fans also claimed that the film will blow your mind.

Fantastic Beast and The Crimes of Grindelwald continues to follow Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne), a wizard and magizoologist, as he partners up with Albus Dumbledore (played by Jude Law) in defeating the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (played by Johnny Depp). In addition, helping Newt is Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), Jacob Kowalsk (Dan Fogler), and his older brother, Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner). Other casts are Ezra Miller, Claudia Kim and Zoë Kravitz.
