Disney Channel Star Cameron Boyce Passed Away At Age Of 20: "So Much More Was On The Way"

Disney promising star Cameron Boyce passed away at age of 20 due to an ongoing medical condition.

After suffering a seizure following a chronicle medical condition, Disney star Cameron Boyce passed away at age of 20. The Disney Channel confirmed the sad news yesterday to USA Today. The young promising actor was well-known after his character Jessie in the same title movie and franchise Descendants.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated," his family shared to ABC.

"The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."

Cameron Boyce was born on May 28, 1999. He stormed into the limelight in Panic! At the Disco music video when he was 9 years old. Following by, he made various guest appearances in Disney Channel Show such as Good Luck Charlie, Austin and Ally, Live and Maddie...

In a statement sent to USA Today, Disney Channel brought back nostalgic memories about the actor. "From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing his extraordinary artistic talents with the world. As a young man, he was fueled by a strong desire to make a difference in peoples' lives through his humanitarian work."

With his extraordinary volunteer work, the young star was honored for his project to bring clean drinking water to Eswatini, a developing country which is facing cyclical poverty and health problems in Southern Africa.

"He was an incredibly talented performer, a remarkably caring and thoughtful person and, above all else, he was a loving and dedicated son, brother, grandson and friend.

"We offer our deepest condolences to his family, castmates, and colleagues and join his many millions of fans in grieving his untimely passing. He will be dearly missed," Disney Channel paid tribute to Cameron Boyce.
