Cardi B Files For Divorce After Three Years Of Marriage

After three tempestuous years of marriage, famous rapper Cardi B has filed for divorce from her rapper husband, Offset.

The two who got married privately in September 2017, had undergone a publicized rough patch which led to her announcing their split around 2 years ago.

In a video she shared on Instagram in December 2018, she said,

"We got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time."

According to People, in August 2018, Cardi B was embroidered in a fight with two bartenders at a bar in New York, United States. These people said the superstar attacked them as she thought the Offset was having an affair with one of them.

Cardi B stated that only one month after she gave birth to their daughter in July 2018, Offset was involved in infidelity with dancer Summer Bunni and another woman.

That resulted in the rapper filing for divorce in early December 2018 after making efforts to patch things up with him.

However, in late December that year, Cardi B accepted her ex-husband’s proffer of them being back together along with a guarantee that no more affair would happen.

A close source of the two stars revealed that Offset tried to persuade her to not leave him.

Cardi B herself shared with the buzz that the breakup was due to his infidelity. She shared it after one year later when they had reconciled.

The Bodak Yellow rapper whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar said that time,

"We have come to a clear understanding. For me, monogamy is the only way.”

Well, now, she is seeking child support and custody of her two-year-old kid Kulture from Offset. A hearing has been scheduled for 4 November as per Fulton Country court which locates in Offset’s home state Georgia.

In spite of the turmoil in her private life, the top female rapper shot to stardom from her humble start in Bronx, New York.

Her hit in 2017 Bodak Yellow brought Cardi fame and her 2020 chart-topper WAP attracted controversy.

The track is a sodding celebration of female desire filling with graphic sexual metaphors which left listeners bothered yet hot. It has become even trendier after a sexy dance was created based on the song.
