Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday Spell Magic In Black Ensembles At Star Screen Awards 2019

The Star Screen Awards 2019 held in Mumbai recently was a hell of a starry night! This award honors some of the best performances in the Hindi film industry throughout the year. Gully Boy won the Best Film (Popular) award while the actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt won Best Actor in the male and female categories, respectively. Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar also took home the Best Director (Popular) award.

The ceremony saw a host of Bollywood celebrities bringing their A-game at the event including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, Diana Penty, and others and upped the fashion game on the red carpet and how!

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone oozed panache in a black body-hugging gown with a dramatic sleeve. The actress flaunted her new haircut with brown and gold highlights. She accessorized her black look with silver dusters and some statement rings. As for makeup, she opted for subtle makeup with dark brown eyeshadow, smokey eyes and brown lipstick. Her hair looked gorgeous as she groomed them with messy waves.

Ananya Panday

The young newbie Ananya Panday brought cute vibes with her appearance like a magical princess. She can be seen rocking a black tulle layered gown from designer duo Gauri & Nainika. While the upper bodice featured a sharp plunging neckline matching with a belt-like panel on the waist, the lower part was all decked with tiers and volume. Ananya went home with the Fresh Face Of The Year Award.

Sara Ali Khan

For the evening, Sara chose to wear a strapless sparkly silver gown with a dramatic cape and took home the trophy for the Most Promising Actor (Female) for her debut film, Kedarnath.

Ranveer Singh

Ranveer was, as usual, the center of attention of the night due to his classy plus whacky style statement.
