Dating back to the 1950s when Bing Crosby, the American singer-actor was rejected to enter a hotel with his denim jacket and jeans ensemble, denim-on-denim has become a classic trend which will never be outdated.

Denim-on-denim Is Back With Twits

Head-to-toe denim look has come back to the 2019 fashion game with interesting variations. Bollywood trendsetters like Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez were seen in denim dresses with denim jackets and denim jumpsuits. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar stick to the classic combination of jacket and jeans.

According to designer Narendra Kumar, the 90’s hottest trend has got back to the modern fashion world with a playful version. It is refreshed with cutouts, patchwork, and mesh for a more contemporary look.

Meanwhile, designer Rina Dhaka said that denim items have been adjusted to be more comfortable so it can be worn even in the hot summer. Denim these days are all about high waists, easy fits and a lot of pockets. The material is also thinner and breathable. Apart from denim, chambray fabric is also a great option which looks like denim but with a softer texture. ‘You can go all big, boxy and baggy so that you’re at ease,’ she adds.

Showcasing denim looks at her runaway earlier, designer Pranav Mishra said that denim is interesting to play with. It various silhouettes will free your mind from normal limits.
