The resounding success of March film release Luka Chuppi has brought more fame and glory to two lead roles Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. However, merely a short period after their incredible joy and triumph, the rumor about a rift between the duo has recently started floating and spreading. According to some current media reports, the situation is so severe that the Luka Chuppi co-stars have supposedly been "not on talking terms" anymore.

Specifically, Kriti Sanon, who believed that she had parallel importance in Luka Chuppi, feels upset as Kartik considers himself a decisive role in its box-office success. A source close to Kriti Sanon disclosed:

Sadly, if the reports from the industry insiders are correct, we don't know when those who love Kartik and Kriti can see their reunion once again on the widescreen.

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, Luka Chuppi revolves around a couple of living-in together and the complications that follow. In spite of a small-budget movie, Kartik's romantic comedy movie has become a box-office hit as raking Rs 95 crore domestically since its premiere on March 1, 2019.
