Why Shah Rukh Khan Had To Dub More Than Once For "The Lion King"?

In the Hindi version of "The Lion King", Mufasa is dubbed by Shah Rukh Khan and Simba is voiced over by his son, Aryan Khan.

Since the footage of Aryan Khan lending his voice to The Lion King’s Simba was released, it has been on the spotlight as he sounds just like his father, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. It also owes to that reason that Shah Rukh Khan had to voice twice in a scene.

In the Hollywood version of The Lion King movie, the actors that do the work of dubbing consists of Donald Glover (Simba), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (Nala), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar), Billy Eichner (Timon) and Seth Rogen (Pumbaa).

In the Hindi movie, Mufasa is dubbed by Shah Rukh and Simba is voiced over by his son Aryan.
