Sushmita Sen Publicly Opens Up On The Cold War With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

It’s not far off the mark to say India is home to many beauty queens of the world from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra to Sushmita Sen who continuously made Indians proud at the global beauty pageants. It’s sure to prove one thing Indian representatives didn’t pale in comparison with anyone else on the beauty competition.

25 years back, Sushmita Sen became the first Indian to be crowned Miss Universe taking place in 1994. Since then offers have been coming her way, and of course, she has been a woman of the hour.

However, do you know that in the same year 1994, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also bagged Miss World crown? At the time, they were pitted each other constantly as Aishwarya was a big name in the fashion industry already, compared to Sushmita. Needless to say, word on the street was that they were exchanging cold vibes.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is about to reunite with Mani Ratnam in the next venture. She is reportedly to play an antagonist in the period drama which is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s historical novel Ponniyin Selvan.
