Police Record Statements Of 9 People On Sushant Singh Rajput Depression, Mahesh Shetty Regrets Not Picking Up His Last Call

Sushant Singh Rajput demise is no doubt one of the most groundbreaking and controversial news over the past few days. While the state of depression is said to be the cause of his death, police are now taking further steps into ascertaining what led him into depression.

Yesterday, police took the testimony of nine people who got contact with Sushant Singh Rajput over the past months. Apart from his family members including his father and three of his sisters, there is also the man who unlocked his bedroom, his manager Siddharth Pithani, his friend Mahesh Shetty and the housekeeper Deepesh Sawant.

While his father and sisters stated that Sushant didn’t complain about anyone or any problem relating to his mental health issue or financial problem, the statements of other people are yet to be disclosed. According to the police, they have taken the detailed statements for the postmortem report right after his death but they decided to re-record all of the statements from his close circle one more time.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is yet to be seen at the police station. According to a close source, she will have her statement recorded on Thursday. However, rumors have been doing the round that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has been fueled by his girlfriend. The pair were seen to be around with each other one day before the tragic death of the young actor which makes netizen believe that she is one of the reasons which led him to the tragic decision.

A close source revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput made a phone call to his friend Mahesh Shetty before hanging himself to death on Saturday but his last call went unanswered.

In response to this, Mahesh Shetty’s team said that the death of his close friend left him in shock and heartbroken. At the moment, Mahesh is now grieving the untimely demise of his dear friend and brother. He also regrets being unable to pick up Sushant’s last call. The actor also expects that the media and fans can stop bothering him as the sudden loss itself is just too much to handle.

The funeral of Sushant Singh Rajput was conducted in Mumbai on Monday with the attendance of his family, close friends, and co-stars. The 34-year-old actor is laid to rest in peace in Pawan Hans crematorium.
