Mrunal Thakur Used To Earn Pocket Money By Polishing Her Father's Shoes And Drawing Mehendi

Making her appearance in a chat show on Zee5, TV actress Mrunal Thakur revealed that she started earning extra cash when she was a child. In fact, she used to polish her father’s shoes and draw Mehendi for pocket money. 

According to the actress, she has been keen on Mehendi painting at a very young age and that hobby helped her make money by drawing Mehendi on the groom’s hands. In addition to that, Thakur’s father also paid her Rs 1.5 each time she helped him polishing his shoes. 

Her Role In Super 30

Mrunal Thakur who marked her TV debut with the Star Plus shows Mujhse Kuchh Kehti... Yeh Khamoshiyaan (2012) has quickly risen to fame with her role Bulbul in ZeeTV’s soap opera Kumkum Bhagya. In addition to that, the 26-year-old actress is going to make her grand Bollywood debut in Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. 

Mrunal is seen portraying the role of a typical Indian girl named Supriya who considers her family the most important thing on earth. She is also a proactive girl who is always ahead of the time and take the first step in a relationship. ”She is very gutsy and chirpy. I enjoyed playing this character," said the actress.

She Is The Biggest Fan Of Hrithik Roshan

The young actress also shows how excited she is to work with superstar Hrithik Roshan for the first time. Recently, she has taken to her Twitter handle a post heaping praise on her co-star aka her “superhero”.

According to Mrunal, she was overwhelmed with his stellar performance and the magic spell he casts on screen. She also confessed of being his "biggest fan" and was inspired a lot by the actor. 

Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is a biopic about the brilliant mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program super 30. The film which also features Nandish Sandhu, Amit Sadh and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles has just hit theatres today on July 11.
