Sridevi’s Saree Being Auctioned On Her Death Anniversary, Fetching Over Rs 1.3 Lakh

To mark Sridevi’s first death anniversary, her husband, Boney Kapoor, has donated her handwoven Kota saree from her collection to a non-profit charitable trust.

On February, Boney Kapoor along with the Kapoor family observed puja for Sridevi at her maternal home in Chennai. And to mark the first anniversary of the late legendary, her husband has decided to auction one of her Kota saris. He announces that all proceeds will be donated to Concern India Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that serves for the benefits of women, children, the disabled, the underprivileged and the elderly. The bidding began at Rs 40,000 and has touched Rs 1,30,000 so far and expected to be going on.
