"Student of The Year 2" Ananya Panday Gave Up Her College Dream To Make Her Bollywood Debut

When it comes to the most promising face of the film industry, Ananya Panday might top the list. The 20-year-old actress is gearing up for the release of her first-hand film Student of The Year 2 with another debutant Tara Sutaria and the household name Tiger Shroff this month. The fact is that the daughter of senior Bollywood actor Chunky Panday has been a star already even before the news of her debut was out.

Ananya has become the talk of the town since the film SOTY 2’s trailer dropped. The starlet is all praised for her stunning looks and stupendous on-screen appearance.

The newcomer, in a recent interview, opened up that before entering Bollywood, she wanted to pursue education and was all set to go to college.

Apparently, the new kid on the block was destined to make her highly awaited on-screen debut with this film and her line “Park here, Princess” has already turned to be a hit now. Talking about it, Ananya said having “an iconic dialogue” plays a vital role for her and the young talent also expressed her thanks towards her parents who downloaded the trailer and “watch it all the time” and her besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya who shared the link on their social media handles.

Student of The Year 2 is the sequel to filmmaker Karan Johar’s Student of The Year in 2012 where big names Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan made their Bollywood debut. The film is slated to hit the theaters on 10 May.
