Despite the illness, Sonali still looks glorious and relaxed in her video. The touching message said that the best thing of participating in a contest was not about winning but completely enjoying it. If one wanted to become the winner, he had to eliminate the fear of losing or winning from his mind. He had to brace himself for any challenges and really enjoy it from the beginning to the end. "Being selected from thousands of other contestants was basically the biggest prize", said Sonali.

Recently, Anupam Kher has just paid Sonali a visit in New York. He was in the city for the making of the New Amsterdam. According to the actor, Sonali was a bold and courageous woman. If wearing high heels, red lipsticks or doing anything else made you happy, just go for it. She advised that it was essential for everyone to do things which made them feel themselves. Goldie Behl, Sonali's husband posted a message on Twitter to inform about her situation as the actress was undergoing the treatment smoothly. He also expressed the appreciation to all people who were supporting them and staying by their sides.
