Shahid Kapoor Celebrates The Success Of Kabir Singh With A Goofy Smile, See Pic!

Hitting the theatres last weekend on June 21st, Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh is doing wonders at the box office with around Rs 87 core in the first four days. Although it’s not yet to reach the filmmaker’s expectation, the romantic drama is all set to become the biggest solo grosser of Shahid Kapoor. 

The 32-year-old superstar has celebrated the overwhelming success by taking to Instagram a photo of him, his co-star Kiara Advani and filmmaker Sandeep looking excited (and a bit goofy) on a snowy mountain. He captions the snap: "These weekend numbers got us all like."

Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake version of Sandeep Vanga's 2017 Tamil film Arjun Reddy which featured Shalini Pandey and Vijay Devarakonda in main leads. While Shahid Kapoor is seen in the role of the surgeon Kabir Singh who destructs himself after his girlfriend is forced to marry another man, Kiara Advani plays the role of Preeti, a junior student in medical college. He Never Feels Like He Is Perfect For Any Role

Talking about his role in Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor said that he never felt like he was perfect for the role. However, he was quite realistic about it. The actor knows what his strengths and weaknesses are, so he can make it to the best of his abilities.

The actor also added that it was the filmmaker Sandeep who believed that he was the right one for the role. To Shahid, gaining the filmmaker’s trust is the only thing that matters. It is the most essential factor for an actor to play his part.
