'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is more than just a love story.

'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is now available at cinemas in New Delhi, and the critics are doing their job!

'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is a love story revolving around the electricity issue. It is based on the social common problem where men are usually in adverse situations just because of the power crisis. Last weekend on its first hit on the screens, the film amazingly keeps a rapid speed even though there was an important cricket match going on. However, 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' does not do so well during the other days of the week.

This amazing film is actually directed by Shree Narayan Singh, who is also famous for 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. This time with 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu', Shree is receiving an average response from the public. According to Taran Adarsh, who is a well-known film critic, and also a trade analyst, the numbers don't look so great. Taran shared on his personal Twitter account the latest figures of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu':Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Will it be a happy ending to the two lovers?

'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is a joint production work of Bhushan Kumar, Nishant Pitti and also Krishan Kumar. The film is interesting for its storyline, which addresses a daily life issue.

It gets straight to the point: inflated electricity prices have negatively affected life. Not only that, but 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' also touches to the corruption madness, which is doing harm to the whole system of the country. This might not find a solution to it all, but the film sure hopes to do its part in solving this social problem.

The cast includes amazing actors and actresses, very much loved by the public. To name a few: Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Yami Gautam in pivotal parts. 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' started its first screening on September 21, 2018. Thanks to 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu', audience will once again meet Shahid. Shahid has been away from the screen since the last drama 'Padmaavat', by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is indeed a very brave film, depicting the society and its problems. Meanwhile, it has successfully painted the romantic love story between the leading characters. It might cost a lot for electricity, but with true love, things sure get better.
