Salman Khan's "Dabangg 3" To Clash With Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt's "Brahmastra"?

Salman Khan's"Dabangg 3" is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 20, which suggests a massive clash between the film that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer, "Brahmastra".

Two of the most awaited Bollywood films of 2019 are probably Salman Khan’s cop drama, Dabangg 3 and Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s superhero flick Brahmastra. Earlier there were reports that Salman’s Dabangg 3 would clash at the box office with Ranbir-Alia's Brahmastra, but recent reports prove the clash might be avoided.

Salman Khan took to Twitter to announce the release date of Dabangg 3. The film, which made a headline since it was announced, will be released on December 20 this year. The actor announced the release date saying,

Chulbul Pandey, essayed by Salman Khan, has earned an iconic status in Bollywood for his wit and charm. The action comedy has begun its shoot at various locations of Madhya Pradesh, as informed earlier by Salman himself. Sonakshi Sinha, who made her Bollywood debut in the original version, will reprise her role as Rajjo in Dabangg 3.

According to a source, Brahmastra's makers have decided to avoid box office clash with Salman Khan and therefore, they will release the film a week later on December 27, 2019. However, it still suggests a gigantic tiff between the two highly-anticipated films.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is the first part of the trilogy of films starring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the main roles and a few weeks back, the makers of Brahmastra had unveiled the logo of the film in Haridwar. It is said to be a romantic-fairytale in the supernatural format.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan had officially announced to start shooting for the film in Indore, his hometown. Several visuals from the sets have been surfaced online.

Besides this project, Salman Khan is also currently working on Ali Abbas Zafar’s period drama Bharat, in which he will be seen opposite Katrina Kaif.
