Salman Khan Reveals Why He Is Yet To Work With Deepika Padukone

Superstar Salman Khan has co-starred with almost leading ladies in Tinseltown. However, the mainstream cinema’s biggest star is yet to work with Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone. It looks like not just fans, even Salman Khan himself is keen to work with the dusky beauty in a movie.

In a recent interview, when asked if there is any possibility of him working with Deepika, Salman Khan said humorously, “Actually even I’m wondering when will I work with Deepika?” On being further probed, he added, “No one has come forward to cast me with her. Deepika is a big star, so it has to be worth her while to do a film with me. Right now, there is nothing.” Look like fans have to wait for a long time to see the collaboration between the two biggest stars.

Talking about his upcoming projects with leading ladies on the screen, the actor revealed, "In Bharat, Katrina Kaif is my heroine. She will also be my leading lady in the third part of the Tiger series. In Dabangg 3, there’s Sonakshi Sinha. In Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2, I’m paired with Jacqueline Fernandez. So, if something comes up with Deepika, then perhaps..."

On the professional front, Salman Khan will be next seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, which will be released on June 5, 2019. The film also features Katrina Kaif, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff in important roles. Salman is too busy with the promotions for his latest production Notebook.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is making headlines for her first look in her next film Chhapaak, which is based on a real-life acid-attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. It also marked her first venture as a producer. Being directed by Meghna Gulzar, the movie will be out in January 2020.
