Salman Khan Responds To Call For Ban Pakistani Artist Working In Bollywood

The dastardly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir had taken the life of at least 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel and many others were injured. The terror attack took place when 78 vehicles with 2500 CRFP were on the Srinagar - Jammu highway on 14 February. Salman Khan was among one of many Bollywood stars who spoke up about the terrorist attack.
After the devastating attack, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees has called for a ban over Bollywood working with Pakistani artist amidst growing tensions.
Salman Khan was among the first who heeded the call. As per a report, he has requested his production unit, Salman Khan Film, to remove Atif Aslam song from Notebook when the re-recording should be done in one to two day. The AICWA letter wrote:
Earlier, Salman Khan shared Notebook’s first poster which directed by Nitin Kakkar and starred Zaheer Iqbal, Pranutan Bahl in the lead. Also, most of the scenes are being shot in Kashmir.
