Known for his powerful performances in films including “Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster”, “Highway” and “Sarbjit”, Randeep Hooda has been missing from the scene for almost a year now. However, the audience will see him in some interesting films in 2019 and 2020.

Randeep Hooda is undoubtedly one of the finest actors that we have today in the Indian film industry. However, it is extremely sad to see that he is not getting the kind of roles which give him the scope to bring out the best in him. The actor, who is known for delivering riveting performances in movies like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), Highway (2014) and Sarbjit (2016), was last seen in action entertainer, Baaghi 2, wherein he played a supporting character.

However, the time ahead seems promising for Randeep Hooda. He might be seen in some interesting projects in the coming months. The actor is already a part of upcoming Hollywood film, Dhaka, which also stars Chris Hemsworth, David Harbour, Manoj Bajpayee and Pankaj Tripathi in important roles. Besides Dhaka, he recently finished shooting for filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next directorial, which stars Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.

The latest we hear that Randeep Hooda has been finalized to play the male lead in an upcoming new-age love story. Titled Mard, the movie will be directed by filmmaker Sai Kabir, who last helmed the Kangana Ranaut starrer Revolver Rani (2014).

Rahul Mittra is set to bankroll the film in association with Raju Chadha.
