Actor Rishi Kapoor has been leaving for the US to undergo medical treatment for an unknown illness. Recently filmmaker Rahul Rawail took to social media to announce that the veteran actor is now cancer-free and Rishi on Friday confirmed the same.
Ranbir Kapoor’s father, in a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, opened up on his battle with cancer. Rishi revealed,
However, he also shared that he has to have a bone-marrow transplant before coming back to the country. Even though he has been receiving the treatment in New York, his family and industry friends still regularly visited him. Expressing the gratitude towards anyone who supports him, Rishi added,

The senior actor also stated that this illness had made him closer to his children, especially Ranbir Kapoor. Rishi shared,
