Rakesh Roshan Is Diagnosed With Early Stage Cancer, As Revealed By Son Hrithik Roshan

The veteran film director Rakesh Roshan was recently diagnosed with “early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat”. His son, an Indian actor, has made a revelation on Instagram, saying that his father is prepared for a surgery that day.

Hrithik shared a photo of him standing next to his 69-year-old folk. Despite having surgery on the same day, director Rakesh Roshan was “full of spirit” that he decided not to miss his morning workout routine that he made into a healthy habit.

Rakesh is an actor-turn-director in Bollywood world. He is known for his multiple hits, such as the Krrish franchise. His talent in directing was also proved with "Karan Arjun", "Khoon Bhari Maang", "Khudgarz"and "Koyla". Reportedly, the filmmaker is working on “Krrish 4”. His son Hrithik Roshan, one of the highest paid actors in India, has played various roles and is famous for his dancing skills. The father-son duo had the chance to cooperate in Hrithik’s launch vehicle "Krrish" series, "Koi... Mil Gaya", "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai", and "Kaabil".

Before Rakesh, his daughter Sunanina was also diagnosed with cervical cancer a few years ago but afterward, she bravely fought against the disease and managed to emerge as a survivor.
