Pooja Hegde Shows Her Concern When Collaborating With Salman Khan In "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali"

There will be a collaboration between Pooja Hegde and Salman Khan in "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali" that the actress feels nervous and intimidating.

Gradually becoming a Bollywood star, actress Pooja Hegde has slowly garnered more starlight after her debut in the 2016 Hindi film Mohenjodaro opposite Hrithik Roshan. Being a part of the 2019 flick Housefull 4 starring Akshay Kumar, the actress is gearing up to work with another superstar, Salman Khan in the upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Upon sharing the screen space with the Bhaijaan of Bollywood, Pooja Hegde expressed her worry in an interview with Mid-Day:

"One has to up their game when working with Salma. He has been working for years, so I am nervous. Working with stars may be intimidating, but it is a learning experience for an actor (like myself). The script is cool and funny."

She furthered shared that the film started shooting from August but in the time of the coronavirus pandemic, it seems to be held back. When the news about the collaboration between Salman and Pooja came, producer of the film Sajid Nadiadwala said:

"Having worked with Pooja in Housefull 4, we felt she was a perfect fit for this film. She has an amazing screen presence and will make for a good pair with Salman. They will bring freshness to the story."

The script-writer continued to talk about the special project for three of them:

"Judwaa was one of Salman and Bollywood's first Eid releases. Even my directorial debut, Kick, opened during the festival."

Unlike the previous avatars that Salman played before, his character in the film will bring a fresh image. He shared that he decided the look upon the new avatar. Meanwhile, Pooja will essay the role of a traditional girl from a small town to pair up with Salman's character.

Under Farhad Samji's production, the film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali was scheduled to release on the Eid of 2021.
