Kriti Sanon Left The Film For No Reason, Kartik Walked In & Rocked It

After the spectacular success of 2019 when starring in several big-budget movies like Housefull 4 or Kalank, Kriti Sanon’s popularity has skyrocketed. Of course, she has also become an A-list in the film industry.  However, despite being a top actress, her working attitude has still been the talk of the town.

Recently, Kartik Aaryan took to his social media to share the first look of his character in the upcoming film Dhamaka. He will step into the shoes of a journalist whose name is Arjun Pathak.

In fact, Kriti Sanon was initially roped in to portray this role instead of Kartik when Dhamaka’s director was supposed to be Rahul Dholakia. The film is now helmed by Ram Madhvani.

According to senior producer Gaurav Bose from Azure Entertainment, the actress decided to walk out of the project and didn’t give any “worthy explanation.”

He said,

"Kriti just quit without giving a worthy explanation, I mean, she did not give us a convincing reason.”

Speculations are rife about the reasons behind this quit of Kriti Sanon. Mostly guessed that she got a better offer from another filmmaker. However, they also expressed their disappointment about the unprofessionalism of the actress.

For those who are unversed, Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan have collaborated in the film Luka Chuppi in 2019.

Reports have it that, Dhamaka is the remake version of the hit South Korean movie, The Terror Live. It first released in the year 2013 and centered on the story of a news presenter.

Kartik was last seen in Love Aaj Kal 2 opposite Sara Ali Khan but the film didn’t get a positive response from the audiences. Other than Dhamaka, he also has several projects lined up including Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
