Kriti Sanon was most recently seen in “Panipat”. Though the film did not work at the box-office, critics and audiences praised her performance alike.

Kriti Sanon, who began her Bollywood journey with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s action entertainer Heropanti (2014) opposite Tiger Shroff, has always made sure to pick up roles which are different and challenging.

She is not the one who repeats genres frequently. In 2019, Kriti Sanon was seen in four movies – Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4 and Panipat – and her character in each film was different from one another.

Last seen playing Parvati Bai in period drama Panipat, Kriti Sanon is further trying to experiment with different roles in movies. In the Ashutosh Gowariker directorial Panipat, the actress played a Maharashtrian woman with elan and received overwhelming response for her performance, despite the fact that the movie could not live up to the expectations of the audience.

Kriti Sanon is accepting the attention with open arms. She says that she is a Punjabi girl and had never imagined herself as a Maharashtrian, but the response to her performance as Parvati Bai has been so overwhelming. The actress goes on to say that now she feels she should step out of her comfort zone a lot more often.

Kriti Sanon says that she is extremely happy because as an actor when one’s work gets noticed and appreciated, it encourages and motivates one to work harder. She says that she wants to do more different roles, and for her, Panipat was something completely new and different.

The actress has always received positive response for her performances, but hereon she wishes to do roles that require extensive preparations. She says that she wants to play a character which she cannot imagine herself playing. The actress, who will next be seen in Mimi which revolves around the subject of surrogacy, adds that she is in search of such characters.
