The first responses to the film Kedarnath have approached online after the special screening organized on 5th of December.

The first responses to the film Kedarnath have approached online after the special screening organized on 5th of December  which is under the direction of Abhishek Kapoor and features Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput. Several stars, including Preity Zinta, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, and Kartik Aaryan attended this screening. Moreover, few of them raised their voices via social media about the movie, set against Uttarakhand flood backdrop in 2013.

Arjun Rampal named the movie “beautiful” via his Twitter and complimented the performance of Sara. 

The actor’s businessman husband, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, the lifestyle coach gave a round of applause for the visual effect of the film. On Twitter, he captioned that WOW is all he can say. Along with that, he also wrote: 

Through social media, Rahul Dholakia, Raees’ director expressed Sara’s debut impressed him. Clearly, she’s the pleasure to watch. Sussanne Khan affirmed that a stunning super genius has arrived. Also, she wrote on her Instagram account that the movie moved her heart.

In the meantime, on the Instagram, Ananya Pandey and Preity Zinta wished the entire team best lucks prior to the release of the film, scheduled on Friday, December 7th. Kedarnath depicts the love story between the Hindu woman and the Muslim man, set against a natural disaster backdrop.

The movie has become the victim of myriad setbacks. And, KriArj Entertainment, a production company got the involvement in the lawful quarrel with Kapoor who successively initiated the lawsuit which was against Sara. More recently, there was a PIL initiated against the movie, claiming it hurts sentiments of Hindu. On Thursday, the court dismissed the plea.
