Kartik Aaryan Talks About His Much-Awaited Film “Dostana 2”

Kartik Aaryan has been on a winning streak ever since debuting in Bollywood. But 2019 has turned out to be an amazing year for the young actor. He was seen in two movies this year – Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh – and both of them performed exceedingly well at the ticket counter, establishing the fact that he is here to day for a long, long time.

Just like 2019, 2020 also seems to be quite promising for Kartik Aaryan. The actor is working on some high-profile projects, one of them being Dostana 2, a sequel to Dharma Productions’ 2008 comic-caper Dostana. While the original film featured established actors like Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in lead role, the sequel stars relatively new actors such as Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya.

After wrapping up the Punjab schedule of Dostana 2, the cast and crew will soon commence the third schedule in Mumbai. In a recent interview, Kartik Aaryan talked in detail about the upcoming film and tagged it as young and vibrant. The charming actor said that Dostana 2 is a young and vibrant film which will push the envelope. He said that he really enjoys being on that set with everyone and it is exciting to be working on this film.

Well, not just Kartik Aryan, his army of fan is also super thrilled to see him in Dostana 2 and share the screen space with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time. Bankrolled by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, Dostana 2 is directed by Collin D’Cunha who will be making his directorial debut with it. The film is slated to release in the second half of 2020.

Besides Dostana 2, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kiara Advani and an untitled film with ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. He is reportedly in talks with Ali for yet another film.
