Kartik Aaryan Signed On By Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali?

Kartik Aaryan is undoubtedly one of the most bankable stars from the current crop of actors in Bollywood. The actor, who came to limelight after the huge success of Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), has cemented his position with the earth-shattering success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in 2018.

The movie, which also featured Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in lead roles, inflamed the box-office upon its release and turned out to be the biggest film of the actor’s career.

After Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik Aaryan was seen in Maddock Films and Jio Studios’ Luka Chuppi (2019), which also left the cash registers jingling and emerged as a massive hit at the box-office. Ever since the success of Luka Chuppi, filmmakers have been queuing up at his doorsteps with scripts in their hands.

If reports are to be believed, his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh has all the ingredients of a superhit film. If it indeed clicks with the audience upon its release on 6^th December, the film would take the actor’s stardom to the next level. Besides Kartik Aaryan, Pati Patni Aur Woh also features Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in lead roles.

The latest buzz around the actor is that he has been signed on to headline a film to be produced by eminent filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A source in the know informed a leading publication that Kartik Aaryan was even approached to romance Alia Bhatt in Bhansali’s upcoming directorial offering Gangubai Kathiawadi. However, the actor could not sign the film due to his packed scheduled. Kartik Aaryan will now topline an upcoming film which SLB will be bankrolling under his production house Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions.
