Karisma Kapoor needs no introduction! Though it has been more than a decade since she has not appeared in any film, she is still popular among the audience. Karisma Kapoor bid adieu to showbiz when her career was in full swing during the ‘90s and early 2000s.
From comic-capers like Coolie No.1 (1995) and Hero No.1 (1997) to romantic dramas like Raja Hindustani (1996) and Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya Hai (2002), Kapoor delivered a series of blockbusters in her career.
But after her marriage with businessman Sanjay Kapoor in 2003, Karisma Kapoor took a sabbatical from films. She made her comeback to Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishq (2012).
But by then her successful trajectory had hit a snag and the film tanked at the box-office without a trace. After Dangerous Ishq, Karisma is making her acting comeback once again, but this time with a webseries.
Titled Mentalhood, the webseries is being produced by ALTBalaji. It revolves around a bunch of working moms. Though Mentalhood is yet to start streaming on the OTT platform, more opportunities have already started knocking on the doors of the Haseena Man Jayegi (1999) actress. She is reportedly determined to re-establish her career in showbiz once again.
a source in the know reveals to an Indian daily.
Well, it is indeed a great piece of news for all the diehard fans of the actress who, all these years, have been missing to see her in action once again.
