Superstar Karishma Kapoor Wraps The Shooting Of Her Digital Debut "Mentalhood"

Veteran actress and 90's superheroine Karishma Kapoor is all set to make her digital debut with the Alt Balaji produced series Mentalhood. Mentalhood is a parenting show which is directed by Karishma Kohli under Balaji Telefilms. The shoot for the series was wrapped up yesterday and the actor took it to her Instagram handle to announce the same.

Sharing some of the images from the last day of the shoot, the actress wrote on Instagram, "AND IT’S A WRAP!!! A mental cake for a mental crew. Thank you all for being so amazing… Love MentalMom, Meira Sharma @karishmakohli @altbalaji @ektaravikapoor #teammentalhood."

In the images, she shared on Instagram the actress could be seen cutting cake which had written Mentalhood on it. Accompanying here were the rest of the cast and the crew from the series.

On May 22nd, Karishma Kapoor had shared a character poster on Instagram. Sharing the image the actress quoted, "Meet Meira Sharma. A small town mom trying to navigate through this jungle of Mumbai momzillas. She knows parenting is about the right balance… it’s the finding of that balance that’s the tricky part. The show is about parenthood and how a mom manages her notorious kids in a busy city like Mumbai. The show will take us through various ups and downs in a mom's life, making it as a unique plot which had never been explored in the digital world.

Ekta Kapoor also shared a poster of the web series saying on Instagram saying, "When BIWI NO1 becomes MUMMY NO1. And now we come to d final introduction! The mommy most like us! The enabler the narrator d perspective!! The antithesis of the PERFECT MOTHER is the ever-growing EVER EVOLVING ONE! She tries she cries she cares she fails n she never gives up! Karishma Kapoor was recently seen on big screens in the big budget Shahrukh Khan film Zero. She played a cameo in the movie which saw Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the leads.
