Last seen in period drama “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”, Kangana Ranaut currently has multiple films in her hand, one of them being a multilingual biopic on late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa.

Kangana Ranaut is coming up with back-to-back movies, which will be hitting screens in 2019 and 2020. She was recently seen in the period drama, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019), which the actress also co-directed with well-known South Indian filmmaker, Krish.

The movie, as we all know, turned out to be a success at the box-office, cementing her position in Bollywood further.

After the success of the film, Kangana Ranaut was approached for several new projects. While she picked up some, the rest she turned down.

One of the films that the three-time National award-winning actress said ‘yes’ immediately to was a biopic on late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa. The biopic is titled Thalaivi.

We hear that Kangana Ranaut is quite psyched up about the multilingual biopic which will be made in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The actress is taking her preparations very seriously to make sure that everything from her looks, accent, and dialogues is perfect in the movie. She will also gain some weight to fit the bill.
