Kangana Ranaut, who made her directorial debut in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, has spilt the beans on her second project as a filmmaker in a recent interview with DNA India.

While there have been a lot of action epic films like the Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, the Baahubali films or even her last outing Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut affirmed that her next film would be different from other similar movies.

Kangana Ranaut not only impressed the critics but also won the hearts of millions of audiences with her brilliant performance in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Additionally, the actress was showered with praise for her directorial debut after filmmaker Krish opted out from the film mid-way. Despite numerous controversies following Krish’s withdrawal, the film still worked wonders at the box office.

Talking about wearing the director’s hat for the first time, Kangana said that it seems like her first love and she wants to have more opportunities to direct a film.

On the professional front, Kangana is now busy shooting for Panga alongside Jassie Gill. Plus, she will also be seen in Mental Hai Kya? opposite Rajkummar Rao, which is slated to hit the cinema in May.
