Amidst Priyanka Chopra's "Jai Hind" tweet controversy, Kangana Ranaut now has supported and backed the actress, stating that it is not an "easy choice"

Bollywood actress turned international icon, Priyanka Chopra landed herself in the midst of a controversy for a past tweet celebrating the Indian army’s attack on Pakistan. While until now not many in the Bollywood film industry came out in support of the Quantico star, controversial actress Kangana Ranaut has come to rescue Priyanka.

She even defended her views stating that it is not an "easy choice" when one is stuck between "duty and emotions" and that many choose "heart over mind".

For the uninitiated, recently, at a Los Angeles event, Priyanka was called out by a Pakistani girl named Ayesha Malik who accused the Indian actress of being a "hypocrite" and "encouraging nuclear war against Pakistan".

She said.

Replying to this statement, Priyanka was quoted saying,

Later, Pakistan's Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari sent a letter to UNICEF (United Nation's Children Fund) requesting the removal of actress Priyanka Chopra as their Goodwill Ambassador.

Mazari wrote in the letter.
