Janhvi Kapoor On Sridevi’s Death Anniversary: My Heart Will Always Be Heavy

Veteran actor Sridevi’s untimely death left her family in shock.

It has been a year since veteran actress Sridevi died from accidental drowning in a bathtub in Dubai. The loss came as a shock to her family and millions of fans who are still trying hard to cope up with the loss.  On the first death anniversary of iconic actress Sridevi, social media was flooded with emotional messages for the star.

On Instagram, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor shared a photo of herself sitting on her mother lap with hands intertwined with her mother'. She captioned her post with a heart-warming message:

The comments thread on the post filled with teary-eyed emoticons and sweet messages in the memory of the Chandni actress.

The actress' sister-in-law Sunita Kapoor also shared a picture from the puja at her Chennai residence.  Sunita wrote:

The sudden death left her legions of fans and the film industry shocked and heartbroken. Celebrities like Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, Manish Malhotra, Tabu and many others reached Anil Kapoor's home to pay their respects. PM Modi also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
Since Sridevi's sudden demise, Arjun Kapoor, her eldest son, has emerged as the caring brother to both sisters Janhvi and Khushi in the time of need and developed a warm relationship with his half-sisters.
