Filmfare Awards 2019: Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi And Boney Kapoor Receive The Hounour On Behalf Of Sridevi

On behalf of Janhvi’s late mother Sridevi, the family took the award for her Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously.

Producer Boney Kapoor along with his two daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor came on the stage of the 64th Filmfare Awards together last Saturday in Mumbai. On behalf of Janhvi’s late mother Sridevi, the family took the award for her Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously.

The Indian superstar Sridevi Kapoor passed away in Dubai early last year, which shocked the whole nation. After that, the actress was posthumously awarded the Best Actress National Award in 2018 for her performance in Mom. Boney and his daughters also came together to take the award on behalf of his wife.

In the Filmfare Awards ceremony, Janhvi performed with Shah Rukh Khan in a variety of songs. The actress admitted being super excited before the starry event which she has attended several time before.

Regarding the result of the award night, Badhaai Ho, Sanju, Raazi and Andhadhun emerged as the big winners. Meanwhile, superstars like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Gajraj Rao ruled the night.

Among the winning films, Raazi seems to get the best result with five awards including Best Director and Best Film. While the Critics Best Actor in Leading Role (Female) belongs to Neena for her film Badhaai Ho, Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann shared the same award for the female lead.
